Seed to Seed: A Seed Library for the SLV

Borrow seeds, grow 'em, then harvest and return some seeds for future gardeners!

The Seed to Seed Library was developed and is maintained by the Adams State University's Nielsen Library, in conjunction with its community co-sponsors:

  • SLV Local Foods Coalition - Promotes local foods to consumers and producers through establishing networks that facilitate local economies. Educates the community about local food culture and food skills.
  • Valley Educational Gardens Initiative (VEGI) - Provides general garden and nutrition education for the community. They also offer several garden sites that can be used for hands on lessons.
  • Alamosa Community Greenhouse - An organic gardening and educational greenhouse located at 1201 Edison Avenue in Alamosa

We encourage you to learn more about our co-sponsors and to get involved with their many community projects.
