Adams State LibX

About

About

LibX is a Chrome or Firefox extension that gives you quick access to Adams State articles, books, and other resources. It’s a toolbar and handy guide in one.

LibX Features

LibX Features

Single Click Off-Campus Access

Let’s say you’re off campus and you find an article on JSTOR. Right click on the page and select “Reload page via Adams State EZ proxy” to see if you can get the full text through the library. This also works well with publisher sites and Google Scholar.

Easy Searching

Find a good book on NPR? See a journal mentioned on your favorite blog? Discover a good keyword in Wikipedia? Highlight the word and right click to search. You can also use the embedded LibX search box by clicking on the orange LibX circle.

Embedded Links in Amazon

LibX places a small orange icon next to books in Amazon and Barnes and Nobles. If you click on the icon it will automatically search for the book in Adams State and other libraries around the state.

Request Items Instantly

If you can’t find the item we can get it for you! There is a permanent link to Interlibrary loan in the toolbar, and many items can be requested directly from EBSCO or Google Scholar. You can also request books via our interlibrary program Propsector; just search for the title using the “Colorado Books” search. Questions? Comments? Email me at nicoleleboeuf@adams.edu.
