Adams State Archives & Special Collections: How to Use the Collections

How to Use the Collections

Anybody can use the closed collections!

To use the closed collections:

Since closed collections cannot be browsed, you can use our finding aids, email the archives and special collections librarian, or ask for help at the reference desk to find out what items you need.

Once you find out the items you need, please see a librarian at the 2nd floor reference desk.

A current ID is required at the time of use.  The ID will be held by the librarian at the reference desk, along with a list of what you are borrowing.

Items may be photocopied, scanned, or photographed if librarian permits.

Items may be used anywhere in the library

Items must be returned at the Reference desk before you leave.
