We are happy to consider purchasing material suggested by any campus affiliates. We do have a limited budget, however, so you may be asked to help us justify the expense -- if it meets the broader academic needs of the campus, it is far more likely to be prioritized.
Textbooks cannot be purchased, for the same reason students so often skip purchasing them: they're very expensive and go out of date too quickly to be a lucrative investment. Additionally, many publishers will not sell textbooks to libraries, as it impacts their profits to have material shared. Access Codes and Homework Platforms further complicate library purchasing.
